You are cordially invited to the 106th Annual Gold Medal Gala, honoring Max Stier, Darren Walker, and Judy Woodruff. This 100% virtual event will take place live on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, from 6:00 to 9:30 pm Eastern Time.
As many of you know, the annual Gold Medal Dinner, honoring extraordinary individuals who have made the highest contribution to the improvement of society, has been a National Institute tradition since 1913. Learn more about this year’s Honorees here.
In recognition of the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have converted this year’s event to 100% virtual. Join us for an inspiring evening to honor this year’s Gold Medal Honorees, support the work of the National Institute, and socialize (virtually) with your friends, all from the comfort of your home.

Your ongoing support is more important than ever as we weather the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and our mission has never been more timely or critical as society reels under the societal, economic, and political shocks of the pandemic. Your generosity will enable the National Institute to continue to innovate with new ways to deliver our mission objectives.
In addition, you will have the option to allocate up to 40% of your ticket purchase toward the National Institute’s Grants Program upon checkout. The Grants Program provides direct financial support to graduate students in the social sciences.
